About Angie

Our Service

Angie was born and raised in Central PA. Angie was always more comfortable with animals, as they were more kind to her than humans in her life. At age 5, while playing on her grandparents’ farm, Angie recognized that she was able to hear the farm animals talking to each other. She also realized that she could ask them questions and they would respond to her! Angie thought that all people had this ability, but at age 7, she realized that others did not.

In 1999, Angie adopted K.D., a German Shepherd, who was a fear-biter. Using the skills that she learned as a Canine Obedience Trainer, Angie attempted to help K.D. reduce her fear biting; however, these traditional methods of behavior management were not successful as anticipated.

While attending the local event, Angie and K.D. met with an animal communicator. The communicator was able to relay information to Angie from K.D. that she never could have known, such as the color of Angie’s car and the color of the leash and collar that K.D was wearing when Angie adopted her. K.D. was able to state why she was biting and how to prevent it in the future. She requested that others approach her slowly so they were more visible and verbally ask her permission to pet her.

This experience peaked Angie’s interest enough to attend a training on Animal Communication, as she wanted to continue to help K.D. with her fear-biting. On her first attempt to communicate with an animal, Angie realized that this is what she was doing throughout her childhood! After a year of supervision with her instructor and working on police cases, Angie was ready to venture out on her own.

Angie has been providing intimate communications between humans and their pet cats, dogs, cows, horses, hamsters, reptiles, llamas, alpacas, deer, fish, and birds since 2000. After 18 years, Angie was guided to pursue communication full time. For the past 3 years, a dog, whom she regularly communicates with, has been encouraging Angie to open her own office. Hence… Compassionate Communications has been established!

Angie’s most memorable communication with an animal was not someone’s pet.  It was a humpback whale in the North Atlantic Ocean near Cape May, NJ.  After unsuccessful attempts of finding any whales, 3 boats were able to spot a mama whale and her calf off in the distance.  Angie was able to connect with the energy of the mama whale and asked her to approach the boat.  After assuring the mama that it was safe to approach, she swam over and floated beside the boat for several minutes.  Still to this day, Angie can recall how the whale was watching her, with her eye up toward the boat.  Angie retains immense feelings of joy, love, and gratitude from this experience.

Angie’s mission is to foster a deeper understanding between humans and their animals.  By communicating, Angie gives a voice to the animals, allowing their humans to understand them in a different way as well as validating the feelings and emotions of all.

Angie is a Reiki Level II Practitioner.  With the animal’s permission, Angie will include Reiki during the communication session to promote balance and well-being.  Angie enjoys volunteering her time at local dog and horse rescues, helping the staff at the rescues learn about animals’ past experiences and how they can help them find their forever homes.
